Job Description

We are looking for a registered Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical care, medication counselling, and healthcare advice while ensuring the pharmacy operates in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The role also involves inventory management, staff guidance, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy.

• Must be a registered Pharmacist with KKM.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Committed to delivering professional healthcare services.

Location : Kota Kinabalu & Kota Belud

Job Responsibilities

Professional Service

• Communicate with customers to understand their medical, nutrition, and dietary needs.

• Provide basic health screenings.

• Counsel and advise clients on their medication regimen and improve health conditions.

• Screen prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.

• Recommend suitable health supplements.

• Assist in day-to-day operations, including coverage for other pharmacists when required.

Stock Management

• Assist in stock take and be responsible for expired or shortage of products.

• Ensure inventory records and stock levels are always accurate.

• Maintain product wastage at a low level according to company guidelines.

• Receive stocks according to purchase orders.

• Store products according to proper storage guidelines.

• Ensure product availability while maintaining optimal inventory costs and storage capacity.

People Management

• Train and onboard new co-workers, provide coaching, and support.

• Ensure the accuracy of product and health-related information provided by the store team.

• Ensure promotions are communicated accurately to customers at the store level.

Professional Compliance

• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all government regulations.

• Execute best pharmacy practices and follow guidelines issued by the authorities and the Company.

• Maintain prescription and poison book records accurately.
