What We’re Looking For 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Familiarity with how platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn are used and consumed

• Curious about social trends, online culture, audience behaviour and emerging content formats

• Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks and timelines

• Proactive, responsible and willing to follow through on assigned work

• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving agency environment

• Currently pursuing a qualification in Mass Communication, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations or another relevant field

Added Advantages

• Chinese reading and writing skills, particularly for Chinese language and Xiaohongshu content

• Familiarity with Xiaohongshu and Chinese social media culture

• Basic photography, videography or short-form video editing skills

• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus

• Experience managing a social media account, online community, student organisation page or personal content platform

• Writing, social media or content samples that demonstrate your thinking and interests

What You’ll Be Involved In: 

• Researching social media trends, audience conversations, competitor activities and platform developments

• Sourcing relevant content references, cultural insights and inspiration to support content ideation

• Drafting and refining captions and social copy for different brands, platforms and audiences

• Supporting community management, including monitoring conversations, preparing responses and tracking audience feedback

• Assisting with content calendars, post scheduling and publishing across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Xiaohongshu

• Supporting shoot planning, including preparing references, shot lists, props, talent requirements and production arrangements

• Preparing client decks, campaign calendars, reports and other working documents

• Organising social media data and tracking basic content or campaign performance

• Identifying useful observations and simple actionable insights from performance results

• Supporting project coordination by tracking timelines, deliverables and follow-ups across multiple ongoing projects
