Organise and participate in onboard entertainment activities while engaging guests and creating an enjoyable and memorable cruise experience.

Work aboard a China cruise line offering Asia-focused voyages from major homeports in China. Build valuable international entertainment experience while working in a culturally dynamic environment and travelling to destinations across East and Southeast Asia.

Important: Cruise ship grading differs from land-based hotel grading. Depending on relevant experience and the client’s assessment, candidates may be considered for a position one or two ranks below their current land-based role.

• Secondary-school or college certificate in Hotel Management or Tourism Management.

• Previous experience in entertainment, such as dance groups, acting, live talk shows or stage performances, is an advantage.

• Strong public-speaking and guest-engagement skills.

• Performance skills such as dancing, singing or musical performance.

• Good sales and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Good command of English and Mandarin.

Salary

• Monthly Contract Salary: USD 1,259.00

• Social Benefit: USD 70.00

• Admin Advance: USD 20.00

• Monthly Hotel Performance Bonus: USD 165.00

• Monthly Total: USD 1,514.00

• Contract Duration: 8 months

• Maintain regular contact with guests and actively promote entertainment activities.

• Encourage guests to participate, socialise and interact with one another.

• Ensure that guests who appear isolated are included in suitable activities.

• Organise and host daytime and nighttime activities, including karaoke and social events.

• Plan activities suitable for guests of different ages, expectations and interests.

• Order, organise and maintain inventories of entertainment supplies, equipment, gifts and prizes.

• Ensure all entertainment materials are stored safely.

• Assist with gangway duties and provide information during embarkation and disembarkation.

• Handle guest complaints and feedback or refer them to the appropriate manager or department.

• Support other entertainment activities and revenue-generating programmes when required.

• Attend daily meetings with the Activities Manager to plan the day’s programme.

• Follow and promote all workplace safety procedures.

• Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.
