Job Summary

An Account Assistant supports the account executive by performing daily accounting and administrative tasks. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial documents, and assisting with month-end closing activitie swhile ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and processing invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journalentries
• Record and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Perform data entry into accounting systems and maintain accurate accounting databases
• Handle administrative duties related to the account department
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by the Account Executive or Management

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with accounting software (AutoCount) is an advantage.
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
