REQUIREMENTS 

- Certificate/Diploma in Carpentry or related field 

- 2–5 years’ experience in joinery or fabrication 

- Knowledge of woodworking techniques 

- Ability to read shop drawings 

- Detail-oriented 

- Team player 

- Able to work under pressure 

SUMMARY 

The Joinery Technician is responsible for executing high-quality carpentry and joinery/cabinet works for theme park props, scenic elements, and show sets. This role supports fabrication activities in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and QMS requirements. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Production & Fabrication Execution 

- Perform joinery and carpentry works including cutting, assembling, shaping, and finishing. 

- Execute fabrication based on approved shop drawings and job cards. 

- Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with design intent. 

2. Quality & Compliance 

- Follow SOP, SWP, and QMS requirements. 

- Conduct self-inspection before QA/QC submission. 

- Participate in corrective actions and improvements. 

3. Safety & 5S 

- Adhere to safety requirements and PPE usage. 

- Maintain clean and organized workspace. 

- Report unsafe conditions immediately. 

4. Tools & Equipment 

- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools. 

- Perform basic maintenance and ensure proper setup. 

5. Collaboration 

- Work with Shop Floor Leader, QA/QC, and other trades. 

- Escalate discrepancies in drawings or materials.
