Medi Beaute Sdn Bhd is seeking a passionate and scientifically driven Product Managerwith a strongBiology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences background to lead the development and management of aesthetic, skincare, and medical aesthetic products. The successful candidate will bridge scientific knowledge with commercial strategies, ensuring product excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful market positioning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in:

  • Biology

  • Biomedical Science

  • Biotechnology

  • Pharmacy

  • Biochemistry

  • Life Sciences

  • Medical Science

• Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in product management, product development, or scientific affairs.

• Experience in the medical aesthetic, skincare, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is preferred.

• Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievements and strong scientific knowledge may also be considered.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of:

• Familiarity with NPRA and cosmetic regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Lead the planning, development, and lifecycle management of aesthetic and skincare products.

• Conduct scientific research on ingredients, formulations, and emerging aesthetic technologies.

• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturers, and suppliers to develop innovative products.

• Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements based on market feedback.

Product Strategy

• Develop annual product roadmaps aligned with company objectives.

• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

• Prepare business cases and product launch strategies.

• Manage product pricing, positioning, and profitability.

Scientific & Clinical Support

• Review scientific literature to support product claims.

• Prepare technical documents and product information materials.

• Provide scientific training for doctors, therapists, sales teams, and distributors.

• Support product presentations during workshops, seminars, and marketing events.

Regulatory & Quality

• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with NPRA, MOH, and relevant authorities.

• Ensure product documentation, labeling, and claims comply with applicable regulations.

• Coordinate product registrations and renewals.

Marketing Support

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop educational and promotional materials.

• Verify the scientific accuracy of marketing content.

• Support product launches, campaigns, and educational events.

• Assist in creating training manuals, brochures, and product presentations.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Liaise with OEM manufacturers and suppliers locally and internationally.

• Evaluate supplier capabilities and negotiate product specifications.

• Monitor production timelines and quality standards.

Market Analysis

• Conduct competitor benchmarking.

• Monitor industry trends in aesthetics, dermatology, anti-aging, and regenerative medicine.

• Gather customer feedback for continuous product improvement.
