• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical) or any engineering fields, and any other certifications (e.g., PMP, etc.) are advantageous.

• Electrical installations up to 33kV or above, including building services, installations in substations and factory environments.

• Able to comprehend and interpret technical drawings and electrical diagrams.

• Solid understanding of filing systems for managing project documentation,

• Proficiency in using computer applications (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Word, etc.) for effective drawing preparation, data management and reporting, is also required.

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, along with a strong sense of ownership and accountability to ensure high standards of completion.

• Punctuality and reliability are crucial, with consistent adherence to deadlines. Strong management skills are necessary for effectively overseeing and coordinating a group of workers.

• Proficiency in relevant computer applications is expected, alongside a cooperative and supportive approach that fosters a positive team environment.

• The ability to work under pressure while maintaining performance and composure is important. Effective teamwork is essential, with experience in contributing to collective goals.

• Professional communication skills are required, with clear and professional communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Engineering

• Review manufacturer drawings and technical documents before submission to customers.

• Prepare Method Statements, engineering drawings and shop drawings where applicable in planning and submission to customers.

• Coordinate design submissions, approvals, and revisions.

• Monitor project technical milestones and documentation schedules.

• Support factory inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and documentation review.

• Provide technical consultation to customers during project discussions.

• Support sales engineers during technical presentations and meetings.

• Assist in resolving technical issues during installation, commissioning, and operation.

 Project Management

• Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical projects including planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering projects involving transformers, switchgears, and related equipment. Ensure projects are completed on time, and to the required quality standards.

• Develop project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to address project changes and risks.

 Client and Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project and engineering matters. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and industry partners.

• Address client needs, provide technical solutions, and manage expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and project success.

Technical Excellence and Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all engineering activities and project executions meet technical and quality standards. Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to maintain high standards.

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Incorporate advancements and innovations into engineering practices and project execution.

Resource Management

• Coordinate the allocation of engineering resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively to support project objectives.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management and engineering efficiency. Develop and apply best practices to optimize project delivery and engineering outcomes.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the execution team.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure all engineering and project activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Address and mitigate risks associated with engineering and project execution.

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to manage project and engineering risks effectively.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and present reports on project and engineering performance, including progress, and issues. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and project reports.
