We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account & Finance Executive to support the Finance Manager in managing accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and timely submission of Group and regulatory reports. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and subsidiaries to support the Company's financial operations and continuous process improvement.

• Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Diploma, or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance, and treasury functions.

• Strong knowledge of full set of accounts, month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and cash flow management.

• Familiar with statutory compliance, taxation, external audits, and transfer pricing will be an added advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account & Finance Executive to support the Finance Manager in managing accounting, financial reporting, treasury operations, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and timely submission of Group and regulatory reports. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and subsidiaries to support the Company's financial operations and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports for management review.

• Prepare and coordinate statutory submissions, including Bank Negara Malaysia reporting, company secretarial matters, and periodic reporting to Group Headquarters (HQ).

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly Group consolidation packages, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules.

• Liaise with internal departments, subsidiaries, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other stakeholders on finance-related matters.

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Perform inter-company reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.

• Support treasury operations, including banking transactions, cash management, and fund transfers.

• Monitor daily cash flow and prepare Group cash flow forecasts.

• Work closely with subsidiaries to optimise cash utilisation and minimise borrowing costs.

• Assist in taxation matters, transfer pricing documentation, statutory compliance, and annual external audits.

• Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls, and finance procedures.

• Perform other accounting, finance, treasury, and administrative duties assigned by Management.
