Requirements

At least 2 years of work experience as a Welder (Fitting) in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.

Strong knowledge of welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.

Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in welding.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks, including structural and sheet metal fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welders to assemble metal parts.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct material preparation, cutting, grinding, and finishing as required.
• Perform layout and fitting of metal components before welding.
• Inspect and test welds for structural integrity.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure efficient production.
