- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies / Administration / Management
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge in basic LED application is an added advantage
- Good interpersonal / communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Possess a good negotiate skill with supplier
Tanggungjawab
- Assists in monitoring and tracking vendor performance through periodic financial reviews, product performance, customer satisfaction surveys, and customer outreach.
- Responsibility to successfully manage suppliers and align them to the overall sourcing strategy.
- Identify, negotiate and close contracts with suppliers and vendors in tandem with business, technical and legal teams.
- Perform the price review and negotiation by half yearly basic
- Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier benchmark study.
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
- Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
- Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
- Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
- Negotiates strategic sourcing agreements and any changes in vendor contracts.
- Negotiates with vendors / contractors to obtain maximum benefit to the company from the contracts.
- Decides if proposed contract changes and modifications are reasonable and in the best interest of company.
- If contract terms still do not comply, then this individual will seek direction from the Strategic Sourcing Manager or Purchasing Manager which applies negotiation skills to resolve vendor disputes with an acceptable outcome.
- Recommends and justifies strategic sourcing initiatives for cost saving by using data mining tools to conduct spend analysis, prepare supporting reports / spreadsheets, comparisons.
- Assists in the development of internal policies and tools necessary to implement strategic sourcing initiatives and assists in prioritizing strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with the Purchasing Agents in the development and formation of strategic sourcing agreements
