We are looking for Mapping Operators / Street View Car Drivers to support a mapping and data-collection project in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a project vehicle to a set of locations and routes provided by the client and collecting mapping data using specialized equipment installed on the vehicle.

A 360-degree camera and other mapping equipment will be installed on the vehicle. The operator will be responsible for safely driving the vehicle, following the assigned routes and instructions, and ensuring that the vehicle and equipment are properly maintained throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the mapping vehicle safely and responsibly according to assigned routes and locations.
• Visit designated locations provided by the client and collect the required mapping data.
• Operate the vehicle-mounted 360-degree camera and mapping equipment as instructed.
• Follow navigation software, route instructions, and project-specific guidelines.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned mapping missions.
• Conduct daily checks of the vehicle and mapping equipment before starting work.
• Take proper care of the vehicle and all client-provided equipment.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked safely and securely when not in use.
• Follow all local traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with Drive Coordinators, other team members, and members of the public when required.
• Report any vehicle, equipment, route, or operational issues to the relevant coordinator/manager.
• Work effectively as part of a larger mapping and field operations team.
• Be flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours, depending on project requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional/commercial driving experience.
• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Good driving record and strong knowledge of road safety practices.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods and travelling between assigned locations.
• Ability to follow GPS/navigation systems and detailed route instructions.
• Basic technical awareness and ability to operate vehicle-mounted equipment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow project instructions accurately.
• Responsible attitude toward company vehicles and technical equipment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willingness to undergo the required Background Verification (BGV) and Drug Test conducted by the client.
• Candidates must have access to a secure parking facility for the project vehicle when it is not in operation.
