Lead Mainframe Developer – 10+ years
- Responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining insurance applications on mainframe platforms.
- Translate business requirements into system specifications and technical solutions.
- Handle batch/online processing, performance tuning, incident management and root cause analysis.
- Support application changes, releases, operational documentation and system enhancements.
- Drive mainframe modernization, including test automation, CI/CD, development tools and integration with modern platforms.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and modernization.
- Ensure systems comply with security, regulatory and operational requirements.
Job Requirement
- Strong experience in Mainframe / COBOL / JCL / DB2 / VSAM
- Experience in software development, system enhancement and production support
- Exposure to mainframe modernization, CI/CD or test automation is an advantage
- Experience with Java / modern platforms is a plus
- Business-level Japanese is required
- Financial services / insurance industry experience is preferred
