Key Responsibilities

As a STEM Educator, you will:

• Deliver engaging and concept-focused lessons for IGCSE and Cambridge International A-Level students.
• Inspire students through effective teaching and strong subject expertise.
• Prepare high-quality teaching materials, lesson plans, worksheets and examination resources.
• Guide students in examination techniques, scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct laboratory practical sessions where applicable.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain effective communication with students and parents regarding academic development.
• Participate in curriculum enhancement, assessment development and internal academic projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ChemPraxis' teaching resources and question banks.
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators to uphold high academic standards.

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
• A Master's Degree or PhD will be an added advantage.
• Strong academic background with excellent subject knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logically.
• A positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn.

Fresh graduates with outstanding academic achievements are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided.

Candidates who are able to teach multiple science or mathematics subjects will have an added advantage.
