Job Summary

Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients within an assigned ward. Delivers individualized, holistic patient care in accordance with medical directions, hospital policies, and nursing standards while ensuring patient safety, quality care, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and monitor patients' conditions throughout their hospital stay.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Report abnormal findings and collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct nursing rounds, provide emotional support, and educate patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and nursing reports.
• Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Assist in ward administration, stock management, equipment maintenance, and patient transfers when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing or Degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid practising licence.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work in a multicultural team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Caring, honest, and responsible.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, on-call duties, and during emergencies when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
