•   5+ years of management experience in retail/fashion; footwear or cross-border e-commerce experience preferred

•   Experience in the luxury goods industry preferred

•   Experience working under a brand distributorship/agency model preferred

•   Fluent English (written & spoken), able to liaise directly with HQ

•   Mandarin required; Malay a plus depending on store customer base

•   Strong supply chain coordination, inventory analysis, and team management skills

•   Marketing literacy — able to coordinate with the marketing team on execution (promotions, store visual merchandising, social media tie-ins, etc.)

•   Highly self-directed: able to independently run day-to-day store operations, ordering, staffing, and warehouse management without close supervision or remote oversight from their supervisor; proactively resolves issues rather than waiting for instructions

•   Able to remotely manage multiple stores across sites — overseeing operations, staffing, and performance for stores in both Kuala Lumpur and Penang without needing to be on-site at each location full-time

•   Strong execution, high integrity, and reliability

•   Oversee day-to-day retail operations of stores in Malaysia

•   Support new store opening preparation and follow-up (site coordination, HQ liaison, initial ordering, fit-out/system progress tracking, launch)

•   Liaise with HQ on ordering, restocking, and logistics coordination

•   Monitor inventory turnover and sales data to guide ordering and clearance decisions

•   Manage store staff scheduling, training, and KPI evaluation

•   Oversee warehouse management, including inbound receiving and inspection, outbound dispatch, stock counts and cycle checks, bin/location planning, stock transfers between store and warehouse, discrepancy investigation and resolution, and warehouse safety/5S housekeeping

•   Coordinate with the marketing team on execution of marketing activities (promotions, store visual merchandising, social media tie-ins, etc.)

•   Independently handle daily operational issues (customer complaints, inventory discrepancies, shipping delays) and escalate key decisions promptly
