Our client, a leading organisation in the education sector, is looking for an experienced Chief Information Technology to lead its technology and digital transformation agenda.

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving technology innovation, strengthening digital capabilities, and ensuring technology initiatives are aligned with the organisation’s long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s overall IT, technology and digital transformation strategy.
• Oversee enterprise systems and digital platforms, including ERP, LMS, SIS, CRM, HR, Finance and other core business systems.
• Drive initiatives involving AI, automation, data and digital innovation.
• Develop and implement the organisation’s system integration, API and enterprise architecture roadmap.
• Oversee cybersecurity, IT governance, data governance, risk management and business continuity.
• Lead cloud, infrastructure, applications and IT service delivery to ensure reliable and scalable technology operations.
• Manage major technology projects, vendors and strategic technology partnerships.
• Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities where technology can improve business and operational outcomes.
• Build and lead a high-performing technology team while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in IT, technology, digital transformation or related fields, with strong leadership experience.
• Proven experience in a CIO, CIDO, CTO, IT Director or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, data, AI, digital platforms and system integration.
• Experience managing complex technology environments involving multiple systems, stakeholders or business units.
• Experience within education, higher education or a similarly complex organisation will be an advantage.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
