We are currently hiring for a 6-month contract opportunity supporting day-to-day AML and compliance operations within the financial services industry.

The role focuses on screening, monitoring and reviewing cases, assessing information and exceptions, and making approval or rejection decisions in line with established procedures and guidelines.

What you’ll be doing:

• Review and screen customer, policy and transaction records through designated systems
• Monitor and assess alerts generated from AML and sanctions screening tools
• Review cases and determine approval or rejection based on established guidelines
• Escalate high-risk, suspicious or exception cases for further review
• Maintain proper documentation of case reviews and decisions
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve case-related queries and obtain the necessary information

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in AML/KYC, Compliance, Banking Operations, Insurance Operations, Financial Services or related areas
• Background in banking, insurance, financial services, compliance, risk or operations
• Familiarity with AML monitoring and case management systems
• Comfortable reviewing cases, assessing information and making decisions based on established guidelines
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot is an added advantage

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
