Job Type: Project-based / Freelance / Contract

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detailed-oriented Freelance Tamil Translator/Interpreter, or Transcriber to join our team for ongoing project-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately translate written legal, medical, and general documents between English and Tamil while maintaining cultural context and precise phrasing.
• Provide high-quality consecutive or simultaneous interpretation for remote meetings, legal proceedings, or interviews.
• Transcribe audio and video recordings in Tamil accurately into English or written Tamil.
• Attend local appointments in Singapore as required to sign certified translation affidavits and perform declarations before a Commissioner for Oaths or local authority (Preferred or Options)

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Professional working fluency in both written and spoken Tamil and English.
• Proven experience in language translation, transcription, or interpretation. Have sample or proof preferred
• Access to a reliable computer, secure high-speed internet connection, and remote communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
• Ability to meet tight project deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Work Details:

• Status: Freelance / Independent Contractor (Project Basis)
• Pay Rate: Per word (Translation), Per hour (Interpretation), or Per audio minute (Transcription) / Negotiable based on project scope and experience.
