• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcasting, Advertising, or a related field.
• Able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Active and familiar with social media platforms.
• Creative and willing to experiment with different content formats.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or similar tools is an advantage.
• Portfolio, university projects or personal social media work is encouraged.

About the Role

We are looking for a fresh, creative, and communication-savvy Mass Communication Intern to support Healix in building its voice, content, and presence across digital platforms.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team on content creation, social media, corporate communication, campaigns, events, and audience engagement.

The role combines communication, media, storytelling, and digital marketing, giving you exposure to how a growing healthcare technology brand communicates with different audiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content & Social Media

• Develop ideas and content for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Assist in writing captions, scripts, articles, announcements and other communications.
• Support short-form video, photography and social media content production.
• Follow current social media trends and identify relevant opportunities for Healix.
• Assist in maintaining the content calendar and publishing schedule.

2. Communications

• Assist in preparing internal and external communications.
• Draft company announcements, newsletters, media materials and corporate messages.
• Support communication for campaigns, events, partnerships and CSR activities.
• Help ensure Healix maintains a consistent and professional tone across communication channels.

3. Campaigns & Events

• Assist in planning and executing marketing and communication campaigns.
• Support event coverage, including photography, video and social media updates.
• Prepare before-, during-, and after-event content.
• Assist with community and engagement activities.

4. Audience & Digital Engagement

• Assist in identifying and understanding different target audiences.
• Develop communication approaches suitable for different audience groups.
• Monitor engagement and basic content performance.
• Work with the team to understand how content, audience behaviour and digital campaigns connect.

The intern may also be exposed to GA4 and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to understand how digital engagement and campaign activities are tracked.
