Responsibilities

Learning Design & Content Development 

• Design end-to-end programmes, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, activities, and assessments that link to clear business outcomes. 
• Create digital modules and microlearning assets using authoring tools and Canva to improve on-the-job application. 
• Apply adult learning and instructional design principles while ensuring quality, branding and customisation for client needs. 
• Maintain version-controlled templates and a reusable content library to speed up programme delivery.

Client Needs & Solutioning 

• Lead needs analysis via stakeholder interviews, workshops and surveys to identify capability gaps and learning objectives. 
• Translate business challenges into pragmatic, scoped learning solutions and contribute to proposals. 
• Work closely with trainers, consultants and subject matter experts to align content, delivery approach and success metrics. 
• Coordinate vendor inputs and adapt external content to meet local client requirements.

Delivery, Evaluation & Project Management 

• Prepare trainers for virtual and face-to-face delivery, co-facilitate sessions when required and capture observational feedback. 
• Design and run evaluation tools, analyse feedback and assessments to measure behaviour change and improve content. 
• Manage multiple programmes, timelines and documentation with clear version control and stakeholder updates. 
• Pilot learning technologies and practical AI tools to streamline delivery and raise learner engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business, Learning & Development, or a related field. 
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, training or HRD roles. 
• Experience designing programmes for leaders, sales or customer-facing teams and supporting client-facing engagements. 
• Facilitation or co-delivery experience is an added advantage.

Hard Skills & Knowledge 

• Proven ability to design structured learning journeys, assessments and facilitator resources grounded in adult learning theory. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and presentation development tools for slide and workbook production. 
• Hands-on experience with Canva, LMS platforms and e-learning authoring or microlearning tools; familiarity with AI-enabled content tools is a plus. 
• Comfortable with basic evaluation methods, feedback analysis, and reporting learning impact.

Soft Skills & Qualities 

• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear learning content. 
• Organised project manager who can juggle multiple stakeholders, vendors and deadlines with attention to detail. 
• Consultative and collaborative mindset; you listen to client needs and adapt solutions practically. 
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

As the Learning & Development Specialist, your core purpose is to build and scale end-to-end learning journeys that solve real business problems. You will design curricula, facilitator guides, participant workbooks and digital modules, manage multiple projects and collaborate closely with trainers, consultants and clients to ensure quality delivery. You will also set up evaluation approaches and pilot learning technologies to make programmes easier to deliver and easier for learners to apply.
