Kitchen Supervisor

Ayam Gepuk Shilla Cyberjaya is looking for a responsible and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead and manage our kitchen operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily kitchen operations.
• Lead, train and monitor kitchen staff.
• Assign daily kitchen tasks according to operational requirements.
• Ensure all food preparation follows the required recipes, SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in food taste, portion and presentation.
• Monitor preparation of ingredients and ensure sufficient stock is available for daily operations.
• Monitor stock usage, FIFO, wastage and stock levels.
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients received.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used and maintained.
• Coordinate with the Outlet Supervisor regarding daily kitchen requirements.
• Monitor kitchen operations during peak hours and ensure orders are prepared efficiently.
• Identify and report any shortage of ingredients, equipment issues or kitchen problems to management.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff and ensure they understand the kitchen SOPs.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly prepared before opening and properly cleaned before closing.

Requirements

• Previous experience in F&B / kitchen operations is required.
• Experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Head Kitchen, Kitchen Leader or Senior Cook is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to lead and manage kitchen staff.
• Good understanding of food hygiene, cleanliness and proper food handling.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work under pressure.
• Able to work efficiently during busy/peak hours.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Working Hours

• 6 days/week
• 7.5 hours per day
• Working in shifts
• Sunday – OFF DAY
• Shift schedule will be arranged according to outlet operations.

Salary

RM2,500 per month
