About the role

As an Assistant Architect, you will support the architectural and project team throughout the design and development process — from initial concepts and drawings to authority submissions, site coordination and project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in architectural design and development of projects
• Prepare and develop plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings
• Produce and revise architectural drawings according to project requirements
• Assist with authority submission drawings and documentation
• Assist in 3D modelling, visualisation and presentation materials
• Coordinate drawings and project information with consultants and contractors
• Attend site visits and assist with site measurements when required
• Assist in preparing project documentation and records
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities
• Support the project team with general design and technical matters

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Architectural Studies or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience is an advantage
• Able to start work immediately
• Basic to proficient knowledge of AutoCAD
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit or other 3D software is an advantage
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings
• Good understanding of architectural design and construction documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Responsible, organised and able to meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Valid driving licence and willing to travel for site visits when required

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
