Job Summary
We are seeking an independent, hands-on HR Assistant Manager / HR Supervisor to oversee daily HR operations and lead our operational team. This role will primarily focus on driving white-collar talent acquisition, managing end-to-end staff training, maintaining industrial relations & disciplinary compliance, and ensuring audit readiness across manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Team Leadership
- White-Collar Hiring: Manage end-to-end recruitment for executive, managerial, and technical positions (sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding).
- Team Supervision: Lead, guide, and supervise junior HR team members to ensure smooth daily HR operations and service delivery.
- Independent Execution: Act as a key operational liaison for plant/department heads, working independently to resolve HR challenges.
2. Training & Talent Development
- Training Management: Identify internal training needs, design/coordinate in-house training programs, and liaise with external 3rd-party training providers.
- HRD Corp / Audit Readiness: Oversee training claims (if applicable) and maintain meticulous, audit-ready training records and training effectiveness evaluations.
3. Disciplinary & Employee Relations (ER/IR)
- Misconduct Management: Manage employee grievances, conduct impartial workplace investigations, issue Show Cause / Warning letters, and manage Domestic Inquiries (DI) in strict compliance with the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
- Workplace Discipline: Maintain a firm yet fair disciplinary framework across all plant sites to build a positive working culture.
4. Audit & Compliance Standards
- Audit Management: Ensure all HR practices strictly comply with local statutory laws, customer CSR requirements, RBA Code of Conduct, and quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and IATF 16949:2016).
- Execute ad-hoc HR, administrative, or operational projects assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership: Prior supervisory experience or a strong track record of working independently to guide junior staff.
- Solid expertise in recruitment strategies and talent sourcing.
- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end training programs.
- In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and Domestic Inquiry (DI) procedures.
- Personal Attributes: High integrity, strong leadership presence, firmness in handling disciplinary matters, and excellent communication skills.
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
