Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Ganga Cafe in Kuala Lumpur City.

We are looking for a hands-on Marketing & Customer Engagement Executive to support and grow our restaurant business across digital, customer and offline channels.

The role will include:

• Manage and optimise food delivery platforms, including promotions, content and performance.
• Coordinate website, menu and digital channel updates.
• Develop campaigns to engage existing customers and attract new customers.
• Support CRM, loyalty and customer retention initiatives.
• Coordinate social media activities across key platforms.
• Review sales and customer data to identify marketing and menu opportunities.
• Support customer enquiries, reviews, reservations and online engagement.
• Develop partnerships, promotions and organic/offline marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with management, operations and external partners to execute marketing activities.

We are looking for someone who understands F&B, thinks commercially and is comfortable working across both marketing and customer engagement.

This is a hands-on role with considerable scope for the right person to contribute ideas and develop new initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong customer engagement and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Experience in account management and sales, preferably in F&B, retail, or hospitality environments.
• Consulting skills to understand customer needs and recommend suitable offerings or improvements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customers.
• Marketing knowledge, including social media management and campaign execution.
• Ability to work on-site, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate well with cafe staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail in both customer interaction and marketing tasks.
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage; a diploma or degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
