Position: Tax Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns, and related tax documents for companies and individuals.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax-related documents within the required deadlines.
• Assist with tax audits, tax investigations, and enquiries conducted by the relevant tax authorities.
• Liaise and communicate with tax authorities on tax matters, correspondence, and follow-ups.
• Monitor and keep updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Provide support and basic tax advisory services to clients where required.
• Conduct research on tax-related matters and assist in identifying appropriate tax treatments.
• Work closely with the tax team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax submissions.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for tax-related assignments.
• Assist senior team members in handling various tax compliance and advisory assignments.
• Manage multiple client assignments effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining work quality.

Skills & Attributes

• Good understanding of Malaysian taxation principles, rules, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good numerical and accounting skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with tax software and accounting systems will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and continuously develop tax knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
