Key Responsibilities

·      Oversee full-set accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, month-end and year-end closing)

·      Prepare accurate monthly management reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections

·      Monitor company budgeting, cost control, and financial performance

·      Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, tax regulations, and reporting deadlines

·      Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary

·      Coordinate payroll financial review and ensure financial accuracy

·      Strengthen internal controls, financial SOPs, and documentation standards

·      Assist Management in coordinating grant submissions and funding compliance

·      Support Management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making

Requirements

·      Degree in Accounting or related field

·      Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably within SME environment

·      Strong experience handling full-set accounts independently

·      Experience liaising with banks, auditors, and financial institutions

·      Familiar with accounting software (SQL, UBS, Autocount, or equivalent)

·      Strong understanding of Malaysian tax compliance and statutory reporting

·      Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines

·      Confident communicator when dealing with Management and external parties
