Quant Developer / DevOps Engineer – Trading Firm | Singapore

A leading trading firm is looking for a strong all-round engineer who enjoys both building software and taking ownership of the production environment.

This is a hands-on role sitting across Quant Development, DevOps and Production Engineering, ideal for someone who wants broader ownership than a traditional development position.

What they’re looking for (5+ yrs):

• Strong software engineering skills, ideally Python or another modern programming language
• Comfortable working in Linux production environments
• Interest in DevOps, infrastructure, deployment and automation
• Experience supporting and improving production systems
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across applications and infrastructure
• Willingness to take ownership across the full technology stack
• Trading / financial markets experience is advantageous, but not essential

The role:

• Build tools, platforms and systems supporting quantitative trading
• Automate infrastructure, deployments and operational workflows
• Improve reliability, monitoring and production performance
• Troubleshoot issues across software, systems and infrastructure
• Work closely with Quant Researchers and other engineers
• Own systems from development through to production
