World Scientific Education (WS Education) is a children's publishing house based in Singapore, focusing on publishing resources for 3-8 years old and 6-12 years old. We focus on two themes: STEM and Asia. We also have a growing list of books on wellness, financial literacy and learning life skills. We believe in the wonders of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), education and knowledge, and their power to grow young minds. Hence, our mission is to connect young minds everywhere to the wonders of STEM, education and knowledge, and to spark enjoyment and understanding.

WS Education is seeking a Marketing intern to join our team. The successful candidate will have hands-on exposure to a variety of marketing campaigns through social media, direct marketing, media outreach and event organisation. At the end of the programme, the intern will go away with an understanding of how a Children's Books publisher reaches out to and engages its target audience, be it the distributors, bookstores, online booksellers, schools, organisations, parents and children.

Responsibilities:

• Propose engaging and fun posts for the social media calendar
• Create marketing assets, e.g., videos and static posts for social media, web banners, posters and flyers
• Provide admin support for marketing & digital marketing
• Research on influencers and new ways of marketing

Requirements:

• Technical skills in Canva and Capcut
• Good command of English and business writing
• Interest in social media and marketing
• Interest in children's books and education
• To bring personal laptop for internship.
