Key responsibilities:

• Daily ICT maintenance
• Maintain computers, servers, network equipment, software, applications, databases, and storage.
• Troubleshoot technical problems when systems or equipment fail.
• Online and manual data verification
• Check whether data entered through the online system is correct.
• Check manually entered data for completeness and accuracy.
• Update observation data
• Update both manual and online observation records in the system.
• Ensure the latest information is properly recorded.
• System log monitoring
• Record and review system logs.
• Look for errors, failed processes, connection problems, or unusual system activity.
• Data backup and archiving
• Back up important data regularly.
• Archive older data so it can be retrieved when needed.
• Check that backups are working properly.
• Website maintenance
• Manage and maintain the Hydroinformatiks website.
• This could include checking availability, updating content, troubleshooting errors, and coordinating technical fixes.
• Monthly reports
• Prepare reports on system status, maintenance activities, data issues, incidents, and work performed during the month.
• Missing-data investigation
• If online or manual data is missing, determine why.
• For example, the problem could be a network failure, sensor/data transmission problem, database issue, application error, or manual-entry issue.
• Resolve the problem or escalate it to the appropriate technical team.
• 24-hour standby
• The person must be available outside normal working hours when required.
• If a critical system or data problem occurs, they may need to respond and provide technical feedback.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
