A Material Planner ensures materials are available at the right time, quantity, and cost to support production. The role bridges procurement, production scheduling, suppliers, and inventory control. *************

We add value to your processes with our efficient approach to inventory management and order fulfillment. We bring about a collaboration between all stakeholders in your business such as suppliers and customers, distributor, retailer, OEM, or product end user.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on input from sales system. Address tbe monthly deltas between planned supply and demand, identify constraints, and work with appropriate groups to improve if possible.
- Sales order backlog management
- Maintain sales order projected ship date
- Respond to all sales department inquires
- Responsible for logistic and secondary process involves in master planning
- Process for all purchases request and schedule agreement to support sales and manufacturing requirement
- Maintain ERP data accuracy (lead time, MOQs, safety stock)
- Provide forecast to suppliers
- Generate internal work order
- Highlight potential demand issues to demand management
- Continuous review of sales order backlog to improve delivery to meet customer requested delivery date
- Responsible to meet key KPI’s like OTD to customer order, keep inventory to optimum level manufacturing planning, loading efficiency and productivity
- Prepare monthly report for inventory, OTD, capacity planning, loading and efficiency
