Role Objective:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, OldTown Restaurants leads financial planning, forecasting and profitability evaluation for OldTown's restaurant and food & beverage outlet network. The role partners with Operations, Franchise, Marketing and Supply Chain leadership to drive commercial performance across company-owned and franchised outlets.

The Senior Manager, Commercial Finance aims to drive financial performance of the Restaurants division by evaluating outlet, menu and channel profitability, and by making clear, data-driven recommendations that optimize financial and commercial outcomes.

The role acts as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, ensuring business decisions are grounded in sound financial analysis, and that planning, forecasting and reporting processes drive robust financial challenge and accountability. The role provides analysis and insight for management to prioritize high added value areas, and leads the Commercial Finance team responsible for outlet economics, franchise performance and new-store investment cases. As a business partner, the role supports FEC team in continuous focus on compliance, control and risk management to follow internal group guidelines.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the annual operating plan (AOP) and budget process for the Restaurants division, aligning revenue, cost of sales, opex and capex plans with commercial strategy.

• Owns the rolling forecast process across all outlets and channels, providing early visibility of risks and opportunities and driving corrective action with business leaders.

• Leads outlet profitability evaluation, identifying underperformance and opportunities to improve margin, and translating findings into commercial recommendations.

• Builds and reviews financial models and business cases for new outlet openings, refurbishments, franchise agreements and other capital projects, and manages the capex approval process.

• Partners with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and Franchise teams as a trusted commercial finance advisor, embedding financial discipline into decision-making across the division.

• Leads, develops and manages the Commercial Finance/FP&A team, ensuring optimal service delivery, capability building and succession planning.

• Provides financial input to divisional strategy, investor relations and leadership presentations on business performance and outlook.

• Supports FEC team to ensure compliance with internal controls, group finance policies and regulatory requirements across all planning, forecasting and reporting activities.

Summary of Key Requirements:

• A university degree in finance, accounting or economics. A professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA) is an advantage.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within F&B, retail or restaurant/multi-outlet operations.

• Proven experience in outlet/unit-level or franchise profitability analysis.

• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.

• Prior people management experience, having led a finance/FP&A team.

• Strong stakeholder management experience, partnering with senior operational leadership.

• Preferably a background in commercial finance, accounting and economics.

• Proficient in MS Office and financial systems; SAP knowledge an advantage.

• Fluent English; international/regional exposure is a plus.
