Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular market surveys and market research to identify market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
• Gather and analyze information on chicken prices, market demand, customer requirements, distribution channels, and competitor pricing.
• Monitor market conditions and provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
• Identify potential customers, including wholesalers, distributors, retailers, restaurants, food service companies, wet market traders, and other businesses.
• Conduct field visits and communicate with customers and market players to collect accurate market information.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotional activities based on market findings.
• Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions, distribution methods, and market positioning.
• Prepare weekly and monthly market survey reports and present key findings to management.
• Support the sales team by providing relevant market intelligence and potential customer leads.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade events, customer visits, and other marketing activities when required.
• Perform other marketing-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in marketing, market research, sales, FMCG, food manufacturing, poultry, or related industries.
• Experience in the poultry, food processing, food distribution, or wholesale industry will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to conduct independent field market surveys and gather information from various sources.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to travel for market visits and customer surveys when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
