We are looking for a Retail Planning & Project professional to support IPO (COA) in driving retail projects, planning initiatives and business improvements.

The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse sales and inventory data, support store allocation and replenishment planning, identify business issues and implement practical solutions that improve retail performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and coordinate retail projects from planning, execution, testing and implementation through to post-project review.
• Develop project timelines, coordinate resources and track project progress.
• Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and follow up on mitigation actions.
• Prepare project updates and recommendations for management.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered as planned.

Inventory Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment

• Analyse sales, demand and inventory data to support inventory planning and forecasting.
• Support store allocation, replenishment and stock balancing to ensure products are available where and when needed.
• Analyse store and product performance to identify inventory and allocation opportunities.
• Support inventory planning for new store openings, store expansions and other business initiatives.

Business Analysis & Problem Solving

• Analyse sales, inventory, store and operational data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to understand business and operational issues.
• Develop reports, dashboards and KPIs to support management decision-making.
• Recommend data-driven solutions to improve sales, inventory productivity and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Buying, Supply Chain, Warehouse, IT, Business Development, Retail Operations and other relevant teams.
• Gather business requirements and understand operational challenges.
• Facilitate project discussions and follow up on agreed actions.
• Communicate project progress, findings, risks and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Process & Retail Operations Improvement

• Review allocation, replenishment, inventory and related retail processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Recommend and implement solutions to improve productivity, efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor the results of implemented initiatives and identify further improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
• Experience in retail planning, inventory planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, store allocation, supply chain, business analysis, data analysis or project management will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Good understanding of sales, inventory and business performance.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, SQL or other data analytics tools will be an advantage.
• Good project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with different teams.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
