MEDICAL OFFICER (GENERAL PRACTITIONER)
Location: Klinik Residen, Cyberjaya Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge in General Practice, with a preference for candidates who have a suitable background. Experience in performing circumcision procedures and basic ultrasound examinations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services and medical consultations to patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
• Perform minor surgical procedures, wound care, and other outpatient treatments.
• Independently perform circumcision procedures.
• Utilize basic ultrasound skills to assist in patient assessment and diagnosis.
• Prescribe medications and order relevant investigations when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive healthcare, and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, healthcare regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate effectively with clinic staff to ensure efficient patient care and service delivery.
• Participate in health screening programs, medical campaigns, and other clinic initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a General Practice (GP) setting.
• Candidates with an Orthopaedic, Surgical, or Emergency Medicine background will have an added advantage.
• Experience in performing circumcision procedures independently.
• Basic ultrasound skills are required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, professional work ethic, and commitment to patient care.
