Job Description
The Instructional Designer is responsible for analysing learning needs, designing instructional strategies, developing structured learning content, and ensuring that all learning materials are aligned with the intended learning objectives and target audience.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information technology, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Creativity is an added advantage and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in the education industry is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, a positive attitude, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team with minimal supervision.
- Candidate must have a valid driving licence and their own means of transportation (Motorcycle or Car).
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office application including Ms Project, Ms Word, Ms Excel and Ms Power Point).
- Good command of both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Willingness to learn new things and acquire new skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to learn quickly
Responsibility
- Conduct Learning Needs Analysis: Identify the target learners, learning gaps, needs, and objectives.
- Develop Learning Objectives: Define clear and measurable learning outcomes using appropriate frameworks such as Bloom’s Taxonomy.
- Design Learning Strategies: Determine the most suitable instructional approach, including content delivery, activities, scenarios, simulations, assessments, and interactions.
- Develop Instructional Content: Prepare and structure materials such as: 1. Lesson maps 2. Storyboards 3. Scripts 4. Learning activities 5. Quizzes and assessments 6. Multimedia content specifications
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work with SMEs to ensure that the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the learning objectives.
- Apply Adult Learning Principles: Incorporate appropriate approaches such as Andragogy, experiential learning, and learner-centred instructional strategies.
- Ensure Instructional Quality: Review learning materials to ensure content is clear, engaging, interactive, and aligned with the intended learning outcomes.
- Evaluate Learning Effectiveness: Assess whether the course or module successfully meets its learning objectives and identify areas for improvement.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
