Professional Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily on AWS. You will work on infrastructure-as-code, cloud operations, and support the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud environments for enterprise and mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring).
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Support day-to-day cloud operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Contribute to automation, process improvement, and best practices for cloud governance.
  • Assist in cloud migration, optimisation, and documentation of systems and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–4 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps (AWS preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AWS services, Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools), Linux/Windows administration, and scripting (Python/Bash).
  • Soft Skills: Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Other: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner) are an advantage.
