Job Summary
Manage customer RFQ enquiries and quotations to secure sales, collaborating with marketing and account management teams to optimize pricing and contracts. Maintain customer databases and deliver exceptional service to support business growth.
Responsibilities
Manage RFQ enquiries and prepare accurate quotations for existing and potential customers to secure product sales
Analyze and understand RFQ needs and requirements to tailor responses effectively
Collaborate with the marketing team to align product pricing and supplier/customer contract prices
Liaise closely with Account Managers to finalize quotes and close sales opportunities
Communicate proactively with customers through outbound calls and follow-ups on RFQ status
Create and maintain an up-to-date RFQ database of current and potential customers for tracking and reporting purposes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or Degree qualification preferred
Proven experience in inside sales demonstrating ability to manage customer enquiries and close sales
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage customers and internal teams effectively
Exceptional customer service skills to build and maintain strong client relationships
Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication
