Job Overview:

Systems Limited is looking for a Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery. The role owns individual project delivery managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources across the full project lifecycle ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality and contractual standards, in alignment with the overall program objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications projects, defining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality objectives in line with the statement of work.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures, tracking progress against baselines, and reporting variances.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for client project stakeholders, managing expectations, communications, and status reporting.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams business analysts, solution architects, developers, and QA including onshore and offshore resources.
• Manage project financials budget tracking, effort/resource costs, invoicing inputs, and margins across Fixed Cost and Time & Material engagements.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating appropriately and enforcing structured change-control processes to protect delivery outcomes.
• Manage project dependencies and integration points with other workstreams, vendors, and client systems.
• Ensure adherence to the applicable delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and to the client's SDLC, quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Plan and coordinate SIT, UAT, migration, cutover, and go-live activities, ensuring readiness, defect closure, and smooth transition to operations/support.
• Maintain accurate project documentation plans, RAID logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and delivery artefacts ensuring traceability and governance compliance.
• Conduct project closure, lessons-learned, and handover activities, capturing improvements for future delivery.
• Support the Program Manager and account team with reporting, resource planning, and identification of follow-on opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (Master's / MBA an advantage).
• Minimum 8+ years of overall IT/telecom experience, including 4+ years in project management of technology delivery projects.
• Proven track record of delivering telecommunications BSS/OSS or digital transformation projects (CRM, billing, order management, charging, provisioning, or digital channels).
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional and multi-location delivery teams and client stakeholder environments.
• Strong command of project management methodologies and tools Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, PMBOK, Jira, MS Project.
• Solid financial, commercial, and change management acumen across Fixed Cost and T&M engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Relevant professional certifications strongly preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), and/or ITIL.
• Prior experience working with telecom operators in the APAC region is highly desirable.
