Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site PW2/PW4 Wireman role based in Petaling Jaya. The Wireman will support electrical installation, servicing, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities at industrial and commercial sites. Responsibilities include assisting with electrical inspections, installation and maintenance of electrical systems, cable termination, testing, fault finding, and rectification works. The role will also involve supporting power quality audits, energy management projects, and electrical servicing activities under the direction of project engineers and competent personnel. The Wireman will be required to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams, use electrical testing instruments, maintain proper work records, and ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and site requirements. The role involves regular site work and may require travel to customer locations, working alongside engineers, chargemen, technicians, and project teams to ensure electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality.

Qualifications

• Valid PW2 or PW4 Wireman competency certification recognised by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Relevant electrical installation, maintenance, servicing, or troubleshooting experience is an advantage.
• Freshly certified PW2/PW4 Wiremen are encouraged to apply.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, protection, and safe working practices.
• Able to use basic electrical testing and measurement instruments.
• Good work ethic with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on-site.
• Willing to travel to customer/project sites when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• A valid driving license is an advantage.
