About the Role

What You'll Be Doing
Food Preparation: Prepare fresh ingredients according to standard recipes, strict portion controls, and follow daily production plans.
Mise En Place: Complete daily preparation tasks to ensure full operational readiness before production starts.
Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain absolute personal hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
Packing & Portioning: Portion items accurately based on standard recipes using the correct packaging, labels, and sealing methods.
Inventory Control: Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principles, monitor expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of packed goods.
Dispatch Coordination: Verify product quantities and accuracy against delivery sheets to ensure timely daily dispatch to outlets.
Quality Reporting: Immediately report any raw material shortages, quality compromises, or equipment faults to the person-in-charge.
Operational Support: Assist with incoming goods receiving, inventory checks, and ad-hoc peak season tasks.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Prior experience in a central kitchen, food production facility, or F&B operations is preferred.
Certifications: Valid Food Safety Course Level 1 (Basic Food Hygiene) certification is highly desirable.
Physical Stamina: Able to manage physical tasks, including standing for >5 hours, repetitive movements, and manual lifting.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow basic spoken and written operational instructions.
Soft Skills: Excellent teamwork, punctuality, strong communication, and effective time management skills.
