About the role

Nasharuddin Wong & Co PLT is seeking a talented Auditor to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an Auditor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality external audit services to our diverse clientele. What you'll be doing

• Perform detailed audits of financial statements for a range of clients across various industries

• Analyse financial data and identify potential risks or areas for improvement

• Review comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings to clients

• Assist in the development and implementation of audit procedures and processes

• Collaborate with the audit team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of audit engagements

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the audit team

• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• A professional accounting qualification, such as a CPA or ACCA

• At least 3-5 years of experience in external audit, preferably in a public accounting firm

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address accounting and financial issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members

• Proficient in the use of audit software and data analysis tools

• A detail-oriented and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity
