About the Role

Family Podiatry Centre is looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Technician to join our team.

You will assist in the production of custom-made orthotics and shoe insoles for our patients. This is a practical, hands-on position involving manufacturing, use of machinery and materials, and detailed finishing work.

No prior experience is required. Training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manufacture custom-made orthotics, shoe inserts and insoles.
  • Process raw materials into finished orthotic products.
  • Operate sanding/grinding equipment for shaping and finishing plastic materials.
  • Cut, shape, select and glue different orthotic components.
  • Perform finishing and assembly work to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Maintain and monitor raw materials and production inventory.
  • Keep the production/work area clean, organised and safe.
  • Assist with other insole and orthotic-related production tasks when required.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.

Requirements

  • No previous experience required – training will be provided.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Part-time applicants and interns may also be considered.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
  • Self-motivated and responsible.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on production work and using machinery after training.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Able to manage assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
