About the Company

Our client is a leading consumer goods/manufacturing organization with an established market presence and continued growth plans. As part of its ongoing business expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee its finance and accounting operations while partnering closely with business stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to take ownership of the full spectrum of finance functions, lead a finance team, and contribute to the organization's commercial and operational success.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall finance and accounting operations of the business, including but not limited to:

• Ensuring accounting records are maintained accurately and timely to achieve monthly closing deadlines.
• Managing and supervising day-to-day financial operations and a team of accounting staff.
• Reviewing, analysing, and reporting financial results to management.
• Taking ownership of the full spectrum of accounting and finance responsibilities.
• Reviewing journal entries, AR/AP ageing reports, and inventory ageing analysis.
• Preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts.
• Managing external audits, preparing audit schedules, and liaising with auditors.
• Assessing and improving accounting procedures, systems, and internal controls.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal control policies, and taxation regulations.
• Partnering with business unit leaders and commercial teams to provide strategic financial insights and business analysis.
• Monitoring key business KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving business performance improvement initiatives.
• Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Conducting financial feasibility studies and evaluations for new business opportunities.
• Supporting ad hoc projects and assignments as required by management and the CFO.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within consumer goods or manufacturing industries.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Solid experience managing full-set accounts and finance operations.
• Experience with audit engagements and stakeholder management.
• Prior experience with a Big 4 audit firm will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
