Job description:

• Provide technical support and issue resolution for ERP systems developed in Visual FoxPro.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to system functionality, data accuracy and performance.
• Ensure uptime and reliability of ERP systems to minimise business disruptions.
• Maintain and optimise MS SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Perform routine database backups, recovery and maintenance tasks.
• Write and modify SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis needs.
• Develop and modify existing FoxPro ERP applications to align with evolving business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and implement system enhancements.
• Test and deploy system updates to minimise downtime and ensure compatibility.
• Manage, maintain and provide technical support for the Company's AutoCount system.
• Troubleshoot AutoCount-related issues and coordinate with the relevant vendor or service provider when necessary.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance the Company's internal web-based application used by employees for requests, issue reporting and other internal services.
• Debug and resolve issues within the internal web application and implement enhancements based on business requirements.
• Integrate FoxPro ERP-based systems with other business applications where necessary.
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on ERP, AutoCount and other internal system features and functionalities.
• Provide basic technical support for computers, printers, software and other IT equipment when required.
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies and data protection requirements.
• Monitor system access and implement measures to prevent unauthorised access.
• Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with AutoCount accounting software is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of database backup, recovery, security and data integrity.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to understand business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
• Good communication skills and able to provide technical support to end-users.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn new technologies and systems.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
