About the Role

TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING PTE LTD is a leading specialist in air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, heating and refrigeration engineering solutions. Our expertise covers the full project lifecycle from planning, engineering design and installation to testing, commissioning and maintenance. We support clients from multi industries like data centers, pharmaceutical manufacturing, telecommunications facilities, healthcare, semiconductors, and other specialized environments. TECHNIQUES has a 90,000-square-foot pre-fabrication facility equipped with smart production systems to support its growing project portfolio.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for highly motivated Project Engineers to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project at site.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations; including labour planning, material ordering & delivery, cost monitoring, shop drawings submissions & approval.
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project including authorities, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on all project-related matters.
• Monitor site progress to ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadline.
• Verify materials delivered at site and ensure compliance with approved material submissions and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that installation and construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, procedures, and approved materials.
• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors' works to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and schedules.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings, and provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
• Identify and resolve design, engineering, technical issues, and site-related matters in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities of the completed system.
• Perform any other project-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager from time to time.
• Working locations West or Central.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Entry-level university graduates are welcome to apply. Diploma holders must have at least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Candidates with more than 6 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of HVAC/ACMV systems may be considered for senior position.
• Self-motivated, possess strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills; with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Candidates with experience in the construction sector, particularly in data center, semiconductor, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, public and commercial sectors will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
