Join our friendly team as an Insurance Administrative Executive to support daily insurance operations and client servicing, driving efficient policy management and excellent customer engagement in a stable office-based role with growth opportunities.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised
Employee Benefits Executive
to join our growing insurance brokerage. Candidate should be comfortable managing multiple cases concurrently, communicating directly with clients and insurers, and taking ownership of matters from initial request through to resolution.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for
Employee Benefits (Group Medical Insurance) clients
, assisting HR teams and employees with enquiries relating to coverage, benefits, claims and policy administration.
Manage employee additions, deletions and other membership changes, including underwriting requirements, endorsements and follow-ups with insurers.
Handle servicing matters from end to end, identifying what is required, coordinating with the relevant parties, following up proactively and ensuring each matter is properly concluded.
Prepare and verify premium billings, adjustments and reconciliations for Employee Benefits policies.
Coordinate group medical renewals, quotations, policy documentation and issuance to ensure smooth and continuous coverage for clients.
Liaise directly with clients, HR teams, employees and insurers to resolve servicing and claims-related matters promptly and professionally.
Prepare quotations and support renewals for a smaller portfolio of SME general insurance policies.
Maintain accurate policy records, employee census data, documentation and correspondence.
Manage multiple client requests and competing deadlines independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in Employee Benefits, Group Medical Insurance or insurance servicing.
Insurance brokerage experience is highly preferred.
Candidates from insurers are welcome, but should be comfortable moving beyond a specialised processing function into a broader end-to-end client servicing role.
Able to work independently and take ownership of cases without requiring step-by-step instructions.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases at different stages simultaneously.
Able to prioritise urgent matters and follow through proactively without constant reminders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating directly with clients, HR teams and insurers.
Good numerical accuracy and comfortable working with premiums, billing adjustments, employee census data and reconciliations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and general office applications.
Resourceful, adaptable and comfortable working in the fast-moving environment of an insurance brokerage.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Possession of CGI, PGI, COMGI, HI, M5, or M9 insurance certifications is advantageous for enhanced role performance
