About The Role
The Senior Analyst – Order to Cash is responsible for executing end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) activities, including customer master data maintenance, sales order processing, billing, revenue accounting and cash application within the designated financial ERP system. The role ensures transactions are processed accurately, completely and on time in line with customer contracts, supporting documentation, service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and applicable control requirements.
The role works closely with internal stakeholders and Digital & Technology (D&T) teams to resolve operational and system-related issues, support period-end closing and audit requirements, and deliver responsive service across supported regions and time zones
What You’ll Do
- Manage assigned activities across the end-to-end OTC cycle, including customer master data, sales orders, billing, revenue accounting and cash application.
- Review customer contracts, approvals and supporting documentation to confirm that transactions are complete, accurate and appropriately authorized before processing.
- Process requests and financial transactions within agreed SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality and customer service.
- Prepare and post billing and revenue entries in accordance with company accounting policies, applicable ASC 606 requirements and SOX controls.
- Perform period-end closing activities, including required reconciliations, reviews, issue follow-up and submission of supporting schedules within established deadlines.
- Investigate transaction exceptions, billing discrepancies, unapplied cash and other OTC issues; coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with D&T and system support teams to diagnose and resolve ERP, workflow and interface issues affecting service delivery.
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal customer queries, providing clear status updates and practical resolution paths.
- Maintain complete and accurate process documentation, transaction evidence and audit trails in accordance with company and Shared Service Centre procedures.
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate data, explanations and supporting documentation within required timelines.
- Monitor recurring issues, control gaps and process inefficiencies; contribute to root-cause analysis, standardization, automation and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively across teams, regions and time zones to manage priorities, meet deadlines and ensure effective hand-offs.
- Perform other related responsibilities and project assignments as directed by the supervisor or manager.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- A relevant professional qualification or progress towards one is advantageous.
- Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across supported regions.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably from Shared Service Centre (SSC) or similar company setup.
- Working knowledge of end-to-end OTC processes, including customer master data, sales orders, billing, revenue accounting and cash application.
- Understanding financial controls, reconciliations, audit requirements and service performance measures such as SLAs and KPIs.
- Knowledge of company accounting policies, ASC 606 revenue-recognition principles and SOX requirements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with financial ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), SAP or any other related system knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to support stakeholders across different regions and time zones when required.
