We are looking for an experienced Chief Commercial Officer – Strategy & Corporate Finance to play a key role in driving the Group’s growth, transformation and long-term value creation.
This is a strategic leadership position working closely with the Group CEO, Board, finance leadership and business heads, with responsibility for strategic finance, corporate development, funding, investment evaluation and major corporate initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute the Group’s strategic financial roadmap aligned with growth and business objectives.
- Lead corporate finance, fundraising, capital management and financing strategies.
- Evaluate and support M&A, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, partnerships and expansion opportunities.
- Drive financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis and business performance reviews.
- Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support Board and senior management decision-making.
- Build and manage relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, auditors and professional advisers.
- Lead investor relations, financial announcements, annual reports and investor presentations.
- Support corporate governance, risk management, regulatory requirements and strategic corporate exercises.
- Partner with business and finance teams to strengthen commercial decision-making and drive business transformation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent; MIA membership is an advantage.
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership/CFO-equivalent role.
- Strong expertise in corporate finance, financial modelling, treasury, taxation, MFRS/IFRS, governance and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in fundraising, M&A, banking relationships, investor relations, IPO readiness and business transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic business decisions.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with Boards, investors, bankers, auditors and regulators.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction materials, infrastructure, engineering, industrial or heavy industries will be highly advantageous.
