Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Education / Montessori
• Position Title: Infant Educator
• Working Location: Bedok
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily routines and learning activities such as songs, sensory play, storytelling, art, and movement.
• Support children’s language, independence, emotional regulation, and social development through daily interactions and routines.
• Observe and document children’s development, progress, and any concerns for follow-up.
• Provide responsive caregiving and supervise meals, hygiene, rest, and indoor/outdoor activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organised, and engaging classroom environment in line with ECDA requirements.
• Prepare learning materials and maintain classroom resources.
• Communicate children’s daily routines and well-being to parents and support parent-teacher meetings and centre activities.
• Work closely with colleagues and assistants, attend staff training, and support school programmes and events.
• Follow centre policies, ECDA regulations, and child safeguarding practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum ACEY, HCIC, L1, L2, or relevant ECDA-recognised Early Childhood Care & Education qualification.
• Candidates currently pursuing relevant certification may be considered, subject to approval.
• Experience with infants or toddlers is preferred; candidates with relevant qualifications and limited experience are welcome.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Observant, patient, and responsive to children’s needs.
• Able to work effectively in a team.
• Able to carry out caregiving duties, including lifting toddlers and floor-based activities.
