Job Summary

You will support the development and teaching of pre-school children by engaging them through play and hands-on activities, delivering lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum, and maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that follow the centre’s curriculum to support children’s learning and development
• Engage and motivate children through play and hands-on activities to enhance their participation and learning outcomes
• Provide routine care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day
• Maintain the classroom environment to ensure it is clean, safe, and conducive to learning
• Work independently with minimal supervision to manage daily classroom activities effectively
• Use computer skills to support administrative or teaching-related tasks as required
• Communicate clearly and positively with children, colleagues, and parents to foster a collaborative learning environment
• Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn to continuously improve teaching practices and classroom management
• Collaborate as a cheerful and enthusiastic team player to support centre goals and activities

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum ACEY / C-ECCE / D-ECCE certification
• Valid First Aid certification

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude including cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and teamwork
